With one-to-one instruction, an intensive driving school crams all you need to know to pass your test in a short period of time. By reducing the period between lessons, you should be able to catch up in less time and for less money.

Who needs to take the intensive driving course?

Intensive Driving Courses are for students who wish to pass their driving test in one to two weeks with 2-5 hours of training per day and don't want to learn for months or years.

Steps to plan your Intensive driving course

When you decide to take an intensive driving course, the first thing you should do is set aside time for it.

Plan your start and finish dates for your driving course, as well as your job and other responsibilities for the days/weeks you wish to take your driving lessons. Make certain that your sole focus is on your course. When compared to people who take regular driving lessons, which may take anywhere from 6 months to a year, a crash driving course allows you to learn to drive in a shorter amount of time. It will be difficult, but keep in mind that it is just for a short time. To offer you the best chance of passing your driving test, you'll need your driving instructor to devote at least as much time and effort to your sessions as you do.

When you explore the internet for these courses, you'll find that there are many driving schools in the UK that provide them; take your time deciding which one is suitable for you.

If a residential course appeals to you, perhaps because you need to get away from family and friends to concentrate, make sure you know how many hours a day you will be behind the wheel. It's not much use booking a hotel for a week and merely driving for a couple of hours each day.

The DVSA driving exam is difficult, and you'll need the best driving instructor on your side to guide you through it. Avoid taking a course where you take a 5-hour session before your driving test since you will be exhausted and your chances of passing will be much lower than if you take a gentle warm-up.

I would suggest arriving no more than 2 hours ahead of time. Bring some water with you to your driving classes and drink it before you begin the test.
